After listening to Dreamchasers 2 several times, it became very clear to us that some of the tracks on the mixtape are good enough to appear on an album. Dreamchasers features guest appearances by American rappers Young Chris, Rick Ross, Beanie Sigel.

It was released on August 11, 2011, by Maybach Music Group and on professional mixtape website DatPiff and is the first installment in the Dreamchasers series. It’s also pretty clear that Meek’s ready to drop it. Dreamchasers is the eighth mixtape by American rapper Meek Mill (hosted by DJ Drama ). As a result, it’s clear that folks are ready to hear the Philly MC’s MMG debut, Dreams & Nightmares. It even managed to crash the Datpiff servers for awhile when it initially dropped. Since being released on Monday afternoon through Datpiff, Dreamchasers 2 has been downloaded more than two million times. And, it sounds like we weren’t alone in our excitement. So, when Meek announced that he was dropping a sequel to his Dreamchasers mixtape earlier this year, we were understandably excited to see what else the Maybach Music Group rapper had in store for us. Not only did it include solid tracks like “Tony Story” and “Derrick Rose.” But, it also included “I’ma Boss,” featuring Rick Ross, and “House Party,” featuring Young Chris, which both spent the better part of 2011 getting spin after spin after spin on the radio. Last August, Meek Mill dropped the DJ Drama-helmed mixtape, Dreamchasers, on us and it was, in a word, a smash.
